The Windsor Long WalkThis one is for the one who wants to exercise while traveling. The Long Walk of Windsor is indeed a long walk. It’s a 2.64 mile (4.2 Km) long straight path which runs from the Windsor Castle through the Windsor Castle Park and also the Deer Park to the Statue of King George III located on the place called Snow Hill. It’s a very comfortable walk and the road and terrain is easy to walk but the visitors must pay attention to the safety while crossing the fairly surprisingly located busy road which runs across the path about in the middle. The gates near the last third are meant to keep deer park animals from going out. If you visit the village of Windsor or the castle and have a few hours of extra time to spend, doing the long walk and having a picnic near the path is a good idea in my opinion. I was so excited to watch the guards marching exiting the castle after the ceremony ends. Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. I really love this castle as it is full of historical stories.
Windsor castle is one of the oldest castle in the world and good. You will enjoy with family and friends. One day trip and you will be refreshed after visiting Windsor and the castle. I have 4 stars and 1 star minus for no photography allowed inside castle (closed areas). Some points are very good and nice and good for photography (open area). Well maintained and green.
Windsor castle is a very attractive and historical sightseeing spot which is suitable for all ages of people. It is a very fruitful trip with spending at least three hours to finish my sightseeing. Everyone must visit Windsor castle when you are in London.
Except that it is not as big as expected, but it is really: exquisite and refreshing. Photographs are not allowed inside, so share some external photos.
