The People's Theater on Xi'an North Street is a small theater with a very long history and very close to the Bell and Drum Tower. There are often some small drama programs staged here, and it feels very nostalgic. It is also a good choice to visit Qin Opera here when you come to Xi'an.

Decades later, every sight of the outer wall reminds me of the moments that I have seen in it time and time again, the drama, ballet, song and dance, music and so on... and never forget the moments where there is my deep plot.
In 1952, he moved from Yan'an to Xi'an's Northwest Literature and Art Work Group (now Shaanxi Song and Dance Troupe), and there is no dedicated performance theater. With the support of the Northwest Military and Political Commission, the Cultural Committee applied for more than 1 million yuan in financial allocations, and decided to re-construct a theater representing the characteristics of the new Chinese culture on the former site of Chang'an Grand Theatre on North Street. In May 1954, the People's Theatre was officially built as the theater of the Northwest Cultural and Artistic Group, and Duan Shaojia wrote the name of the hospital. The Northwest Architectural Design Company (now the Northwest Design Institute of China Architecture) was responsible for the design, and the Third Construction Company of Shaanxi Province was responsible for the construction of the People's Theatre project. China has 37 buildings, including the Beijing National Cultural Palace and the Beijing Great Hall of the People, which have been included in the British publication of the World Architecture History because of their special style and influence. Among them, Xi'an People's Theatre (theatre), with Beijing Workers' Stadium, Beijing Capital Theatre is listed as "one of the three" in 37 famous buildings.
Simple, artistic atmosphere comes to my face 👍👍👍👍
Although I have never seen a drama, I can see the decoration and the quality of the performance in the general from the style and temperament of its ancient buildings. This is a rare old-fashioned building on North Street that is relatively complete and the new-style building is not inconsistent. I look forward to the opportunity to see a show here.
