Wolong Temple is located in Beilin District, Xi'an, just west of Kaiton Road, east of Bailinshu District, . It is a Buddhist temple with very early roots in Shanxi. After the founding of New China, the Government allocated funds for its renovation in 1951. During the Decade of Catastrophe, the scripture was destroyed. In 1983, it was designated as an important national temple in the Han ethnic region. Later, the temple was rebuilt, the Buddha statue was restored, and religious activities resumed.
