What people are saying:

This is a free and open red tourist attraction. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China settled here after arriving in Yan'an in early 1937. It is composed of many adobe houses and cave dwellings. The scale is relatively large and the working and living conditions are relatively difficult.

Additional Information

Introduction

The Fenghuangshan Revolution Site, located at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain, Baota District, Yanan City, is the site of the CPC Central Committee station, where Mao Zedong and other central leaders once lived. The north of the old site is divided into two houses. There are three stone caves in the back house, an old residence of Comrade Mao Zedong. The south house was occupied by Comrade Zhu De, with wooden tables and stools inside, and an old tapestry used by Zhu De.
