Excellent
The Yangzhou Twin Museums don't require reservations; you can enter with just your ID card, which is a big plus. It mainly consists of the National Treasures Hall, the Fine Art Hall, the Sculpture Hall, the History Hall, and the Special Exhibition Hall. The National Treasures Hall primarily displays Yuan Dynasty plum vases, which are truly stunning. The Fine Art Hall mainly features Qing Dynasty artifacts, including several enormous vases from the Guangxu era—something you rarely see elsewhere. While exquisite, seeing them evokes images of the infamous Empress Dowager Cixi, which is unsettling. The Wuhan jade carving exhibition in the Special Exhibition Hall was a pleasant surprise, featuring many exquisite pieces. The Sculpture Hall, though large, felt too empty and lacked appeal. The Year of the Horse special exhibition at the exit was also mediocre, with only the tri-colored pottery figurines being somewhat interesting. Additionally, the cultural and creative shops next to the National Treasures Hall and the exit of the Sculpture Hall offered numerous free stamps, which my wife and daughter, both stamp collectors, appreciated. Overall, it's more worthwhile than the Grand Canal Museum.

The double-storey building has a unique architectural shape and a lotus leaf shape, which is integrated into the immediate lakeside geographical environment to realize the blending of architecture and nature, reflecting the “harmonious” architectural concept. The Yangzhou Shuangbo Pavilion outlines the main line of Yangzhou's historical development in a clear and concise manner. In addition, there are Yangzhou Sculpture Art Exhibition Hall, Yangzhou Eight Evil Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and Yangzhou Museum Collection Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition Hall.
