Guyaju Cave Dwellings Area

Guyaju is located in the quiet canyon of Dongmenying Village, Zhangshanying Township, 15 kilometers west of Yanqing County, Beijing, Donglian Songshan Nature Reserve, Guanting Reservoir in the south. The ancient cliff dwelling is the largest cliff dwelling site found in northern China, known as the "first maze of China", which was chiselled by ancient ancestors on steep cliffs with a total of 117 caves. It is the largest and highest grade ancient cave settlement site found in Beijing.

Guyaju is located in the canyon north of Dongmenying Village, Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing District, Beijing. On the stone walls on both sides of the canyon and mountain ditch, there are 117 stone chambers of different sizes. The age of the excavation is unknown so far, and it has been a mystery for ages.

Among the many attractions in Beijing, it is more special. The wisdom of the ancients and the place of residence are very similar to the underground city of the country. I call this the ancient Rome open-air museum of China. I need to climb a short road. Experience: starting from the stairs down the mountain is the most provincial journey up the mountain, and there are fewer climbs.
