Gezhouba Sanjiang Bridge

Gezhouba Sanjiang Bridge, also known as Phoenix Bridge, is located in Xiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. The bridge was opened to traffic in 1981. The dam site is2.3 kilometers away from Nanjinguan, Xilingxiakou, 37 kilometers away from the Three Gorges Dam, and 4 kilometers away from the center of Yichang. It is named after the dam site crosses the small island of Gezhou in the heart of the river. Originally used to transport materials for the construction of Gezhou Dam. After the completion of Gezhou Dam, the bridge became a civilian bridge. The bridge connects Yichang City and Xiba Island in the center of the Yangtze River, becoming an important traffic road between land and Xiba Island.

Upstream you can overlook the majestic Gezhou Dam, downstream you can enjoy the magnificent beauty of Xiqiao. The river flows slowly under the bridge, and the cruise ship shuttles on the river. It is a magnificent picture of beautiful mountains and green waters!
