Tianning Temple Tower

Tianning Temple Tower is a cultural and environmental protection unit in Jiangsu Province. From the outside, the tower should have seven layers and a dark layer (on the second floor), and the exterior of the brick structure should have a wooden corridor initially. This tower is also the tallest ancient tower in Jiangsu Province. In this way, the ancient tower was also a scene of Yizheng, and Tianning Temple should be quite large. Unfortunately, now it is no longer the style, only a brick tower is surrounded by railings, standing alone there.

The Tianning Temple Pagoda was built in 709 AD in the third year of Jinglong's reign in the Tang Dynasty.It began in the 3rd year of Tang Gyeongryong, and Saju monk built the seventh-grade pagoda behind it with Jinbaeksa and Chongyeonghwaam.Yizheng Tianning Temple Pagoda is located on the south bank of the city, facing the Gulou and across the river.
