Summer is too hot to visit here. The area is so big. Mostly walking from one Island to the other island. There are eight islands you need to visit. Yunju Island, Goodness Island, Ruoxi Island, Star of Xihai, Mingzhu Island, Canghai Island, Sangtian Island and Fishing Village. The small boat or bamboo raft going to the next island needs to wait. From Nanchang, it takes 1h to reach the sea of Jiangxi, located on the west side of Lushan Mountain. Scattered around Lushan West Sea are more than 8,000 islands. The area is not very crowded with tourists. Climbing aboard the 'Star of West Sea' offers a panoramic view of the Lushan West Sea from a divine perspective, where the scattered islands are a sight to behold. There's also a heart-shaped romantic island that, paired with the sapphire-like clear skies, adds a touch of charm to the West Sea. - ⛵️ Pier The scenic area is divided into Sima Pier and Mengsheng Mountain Pier. I took a sightseeing car to Mengsheng Mountain Pier to take a boat to the island. - ✅ Itinerary Take a boat from Mengsheng Mountain Pier - Yunju Island - Goddess Island - Ruoxi Island - Star of West Sea - Take a boat back to Mengsheng Mountain Tourist Pier - Zherlin Old Town - Return trip - 📷 Recommended Attractions 🏝️ A Lone Tree in the Vast Sea ▪️ A solitary tree standing in the middle of the water, which you can enjoy by boat. 🏝️ Yunju Island ▪️ The island has a beach similar to the Maldives, with white sand and coconut trees. You can play in the water up close and also visit ancient buildings such as Yunju Island and Xihai Pavilion for photo ops. 🏝️ Goddess Island ▪️ The island has various thrilling tourist facilities. For the brave, there's an opportunity for a high-speed adventure through the mountains, and afterwards, you can choose to take a jungle zip line directly to the next island. 🏝️ Ruoxi Island ▪️ After crossing the Jinlong Bridge, which resembles a swimming dragon, you'll find the island's pet paradise, where you can watch monkeys and parrots perform up close. It's super suitable for family outings. 🏝️ Star of West Sea ▪️ The highest point on the island, with a cafe on the second floor and a glass tower on the third floor that offers a 360-degree view of the entire island. 🏝️ Mengsheng Mountain Pier ▪️ After finishing on the island, take a boat back to Mengsheng Mountain Pier. If you're lucky, you might catch a beautiful West Sea sunset on the shore, and then take a sightseeing car to Zherlin Old Town to see the night view. 🏝️ Zherlin Old Town ▪️ A whole street of snack bars hides various local specialties, especially when the lights are on at night, it feels like a return to the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. The area is quite large, and you'll mostly be walking between islands, so wear comfortable shoes. ▪️ Remember to stay hydrated outdoors; there are shops on the islands where you can buy drinks. ▪️ Check the weather before you go; the water in the West Sea looks bluer and makes for better photos on sunny days. ▪️ The last boat back to the island departs around 5:30 pm, so be mindful of your time while enjoying the sights. The glass sea is located near Nanchang in the West Sea. The clear and transparent water surface is like a mirror, reflecting the sky and the surrounding scenery, as if you are in a dreamy water world. Standing by the sea, you can feel the breeze on your cheeks and listen to the sound of the flowing water, as if your body and mind are completely relaxed. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery, this is also an excellent spot for photography. Dress up in beautiful clothes, bring a camera, and you can take many beautiful photos to capture these unforgettable moments. If you don't want to go to the distant Bali, come to the glass sea in the West Sea for photography! Here, you can enjoy the same beautiful scenery and photography experience. From downtown Nanchang, it takes 1 hour by car to reach the West Sea for camping. Lushan West Sea Scenic Spot Departure pier: Mengsheng Mountain Pier (Most tourists go to Sima Pier, but there are not so many people at Mengsheng. Previously, the arrangement was to board at Sima Pier and disembark at Mengsheng Pier. However, it is said that you return from the pier you board from, but there is only a ticket check when boarding the boat to leave, no ticket check when returning to Mengsheng Pier) Boat ticket 65 (Women are exempt from the entrance fee in March but not from the boat ticket, no student discount for the boat ticket) There is a boat at 11 o'clock, but we didn't board until 12 o'clock because it was windy. Our route was Yunju Island - Goddess Island - Bixi Island - Huaguo Mountain - Star of the West Sea Yunju Island has a small Maldives-like tower, then you walk to the next island, where you can take a cable car (not recommended, it ends in two minutes). Goddess Island has a small glass walkway and a Goddess Restaurant. Bixi Island has many small animals to see (free of charge), Huaguo Mountain you can walk into, and someone outside can help you take a nice photo. The next stop is Star of the West Sea, where each island has secondary consumption. We only went to this one, and it was quite worth it! 99 for a drink plus a meal, 79 for a juice, 69 without a meal, I ordered the 99, the stir-fried pork was quite tasty, but the service was just average. After coming down, we took the boat back directly, and there were one or two other islands we didn't visit. In the evening, we went to Zelin Old Town for a stroll, which was quite beautiful. Inside, there was also Hanfu rental. If you have more time and drive yourself, you can go to the hot springs, which are a bit far from the old town. The next day, we returned. The bus stop at Zelin Old Town is at 10:20, 11:20, and 12:20, one bus each hour. Arrive at the spot ten minutes early to wait, as the bus won't wait for latecomers. The parking lot uncle was very nice, he gave us stools to sit on while we waited, and suggested we come again during the National Day holiday for oranges~ The return trip was full of beautiful rapeseed flower seas.
