Harris Farm

Harris Farm, located in Dayton, Maine, is a unique destination that combines traditional farm life with winter outdoor activities, especially suitable for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The cross-country ski center is situated on approximately 600 acres of dairy and crop farms and is open during the winter season. The farm boasts approximately 40 kilometers (about 25 miles) of ski runs that wind through open fields and woodlands, catering to skiers of all levels of difficulty, from beginners to experienced skiers. The runs are meticulously maintained, with approximately 30 kilometers of wide runs suitable for classic and gliding skiing, making the skiing experience smoother and more enjoyable. The farm's main igloo serves as the central hub, featuring a lounge with a wood-fired stove, equipment rental and retail stores, and sanitation facilities. Skiers can relax in the sunroom after their skiing session, bring their own light meals, and enjoy the farm's chocolate milk to recharge.
