White Horse Pulling Rein

Zhongwei City has the oldest drainage canal called "Muri Canal", its principle of water diversion is to build an embankment in the heart of the river, so it is called Ningxia "Dujiangyan". The river hit the long embankment in 10 miles, but saw the waves splashing, just like a white cloud over, far away, like a white horse dragging a long reins galloping in the Yellow River, this is one of the eight ancient scenes of Zhongwei "white horse".

Sitting on the sheepskin dumplings, listening to the folk songs of northern Shaanxi, watching the Yellow River tumbling, imagined the story that happened in this ancient land.

2017.7.18 To Shapotou Scenic Area, enter the gate and take a sightseeing bus to the Yellow River District near the Beilin, walk along the Yellow River to the sheepskin port and set off at the pier. You can see the middle of the Yellow River slightly closer to the other bank. There is a white horse-drawn sculpture standing in the middle of the river. I didn't know what it was doing. Later, I checked the information and knew that this was a water conservancy project in the Yellow River, similar to the Dujiangyan in Sichuan, used to divert water. It turned out that Baimalayan was a masterpiece of water irrigation by people along the Yellow River, which was worthy of praise.
