About Agung Rai Museum of Art
The Agung Rai Museum of Art and resort was the vision of Mr Anak Agung Rai. The complex and resort are spread through beautiful gardens over four acres. It is a cultural center and a living repository of traditional and modern Balinese art. It features classical works such as Javanese artist Raden Saleh including his portrait of a "Javanese Nobleman and his Wife." There are also works by Lempad, Hofker, Bonnet, and Le Mayeur. The cultural center offers opportunities to learn about traditional dance, music, and crafts. Call ahead for a schedule of classes.
Reserved Alma Museum Hotel, walking to the art gallery in the morning, there are many collections of paintings, one of which is said to be the treasure of the town hall, no tickets to stay in the hotel, the environment is very beautiful, green plants are too many, even mosquitoes are too many. Walking back from Ubu, you can enter the hotel from the entrance of the museum. Someone asked at the entrance, saying that you can let in at the hotel with a sound. It's generally good to see.
Alma Art Museum 80,000 Indonesian Shield, a person, including a cup of afternoon tea, the environment is particularly quiet, there are small ponds, coconuts and small door holes, so sitting here for an afternoon is also a good choice, the works in the museum are quite rich in local characteristics.
This place is awesome. We wandered in thinking we would see it and then head out. We ended up spending a few hours. It's like a little sanctuary of peace. The art is cool to see, there is a rice field, small river, coffee shop, and even live art - watch local dance and music lessons. It's quiet and not overcrowded. Entrance is about $5usd and well worth it. It's not the kind of art gallery you go to to see a Warhol or a matisse. But it is unique and special in its own way. A lot of local Balinese art.
The Bali Museum of Art exceeded expectations. It was very good and very good. There were many simple but creative works in it. We didn't expect much. We just went shopping because we had more time. It really exceeded expectations.
The Alma Art Museum is an art museum over Ubu. It's only accessible for a fee. I think it's a little expensive because the Bali scenic spot or other places are very cheap. The tickets are about tens of RMB per person.
Also a gallery and cultural center, set on beautiful grounds with several traditional buildings and a nice display of works: traditional Kamasan paintings, Batuan-style work and the only place in Bali to see works by German artist Walter Spies. You can also see local children practicing traditional Balinese dancing (check for times) and during gamelan practice. They have many cultural courses: covering traditional crafts, music, dance, religion. They also have near nightly dance/show with some of the better troupes on their own stage.
Living in the ARMA Museum Hotel, you can visit the museum free of charge. The Hotel upgraded us to villa. It was very surprising. The whole hotel is a big garden in the middle of the bustle. It's hard to book. We're really lucky. The coffee shop here enjoys the paddy fields quietly. It's very pleasant. All the boats and carts are worth it.
A scenic spot with high performance-price ratio. Although the art gallery receives admission tickets, the performance-price ratio is very high. The environment inside is very good. The art exhibited in the gallery is very creative, and with the local religious color, it can open up a new horizon.
This gallery is one of the most worth visiting scenic spots in Ubu, because it is like a comprehensive literary and art center, with plane and three-dimensional exhibitions, space and performance time for literary and artistic activities, as well as various courses to attend, beautiful decoration design and environment, and a treasure collection of town halls to enjoy.
Agung Rai Museum of Art, a museum built by an artist from a farmer's family through unremitting efforts. Comrades who love art, must not miss, must not miss! The floor tiles are all embedded with butterfly-shaped pebbles. If I had time one day, I would have been sitting in that courtyard and reading in a daze.
