The view at the rooftop is amazing. This place is not easy to find but if you are passing by you should totally go in and have something in the top floor ;)
Such a fantastic view with the good food and beverage in a reasonable price. Must try Roasted chicken in the yogurt sauce.
Great spot, cheap beer and curry for such a nice view. Quite hard to find though ...
Possibly the Best Bar in BangkokThe reason for this top review will be evident if you take the plunge and go into the riverine depths of Chinatown. It is another world down there. The journey there is perfectly safe but with an edge and texture formed by decades of trading and traditional community living. The bar has the best view of any bar from its 8th floor vantage on the bog bend of the Chao Phraya. Tell the taxi to take you to Charoen Krung Soi 20, get out at the mouth of this Soi and walk down Soi 20 to the crossroads. Turn left and walk about 50 metres until you come to a scrubby right turn. Walk into the darkness, surrounded by the smell of grease and spare parts. You will find a lit alley to your right with a glowing colonial style hotel that draws you in from the darkness. Up in the lift to the top and enjoy!
One of the best river views in Bangkok, esp from the bar upstairs, as you are on the bend. Stunning sunsets from here too. Oh, the food, service and price are excellent! Tip -Reserve corner table.
Worth the effort to find. Make sure you go up the wrought iron circular staircase to the roof terrace. Cooler and a great view
A hidden gem in China TownRandomly found this restaurant/bar on Trip advisor when I was looking for somewhere for a drink by the river in Bangkok. A lovely find this bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced. We had a starter, main and dessert with some beers for two people and all for under 1000baht- great value! Amazing view over the Chao Phraya river I would definitely return and might even check out their hotel too.
During the twilight, you will see the sky which has been painted by the sun.
Great view at an unpretentious spot. Tricky to find but worth the effort. Don't eat here as everything was bland. Stick to beers and you'll be fine.
Parking entrance is very narrow.....be careful. Parking is on front of the Chinese Temple.
