Thinking out of the boxTo really appreciate Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin you must let go of all you know about thaifood. Its different-its food created by thinking out of the box and you should visit with an open and interested mind to fully enjoy Sra Bua.We took the set menu and was intrigued by the way the different dishes was presented to us and it was all very tasty, well prepared and really creative. We also opted for the wine pairing menu with different wines paired with the different dishes and that was also a good choice. The menu and the wine all in all set us back around 4000 THB a head-cheap i would say when you think of the quality and craftsmanship that is behind each and every dish.If you can read Swedish here is our review: http://destinationasien.se/index.php/component/content/article?id=117:genvaegen-till-koepenhamn-gar-via-bangkok
food festival for your taste buds!well Thai food in general is already super delicious, however the Sra Bua is the Cherry on the Top! Pure enjoyment and celebration of culinary art! a must on the food bucket list! - dont forget to make a reservation in advance
Food that excites! Another level of Thai Cuisine.I must admit that I had been quite skeptical about Sra Bua before I really went there. Looking at the prices also made me think twice, but come to think of it again, you actually pay about the same price for a brunch at a 5-star hotel, or more.Once arrived at the restaurant, we were led to sit at the welcome lounge. Welcome drink was served with the nibblings, which were crispy lotus roots, homemade squid and prawn crackers and soya meringue. We decided to go for the dinner set menu (THB 2,700++) and the others chose to do the wine pairing menu (THB 2,700++ incl. 7 glasses of wine) while I chose to go just for the mini wine pairing menu (THB 1,800++ incl. 4 glasses of wine). More nibblings in street food style were served, before we moved to the dining table. Then, the main appetizers were served. We started off with Tom Yum Goong and the first paired wine (Grüner Veltliner, 2012 from Austria). The soup and the meat were serv...
Unforgettable dining :)Great atmosphere, great service and tasty food! Recommend to pay a visit when you go Bangkok. We ordered the 11-dishes set and a separate set. The presentation of the food will give you surprise :)
Incredible presentation! You definately have to take the set menu as the presentation is outstanding and its very fair priced. If you dont like fish and seafood as myself its a bit more difficult as there are not that many dishes left and theres no according menu.
