Shaoshishan

Shaoshi Mountain and Danxia Mountain World Geopark are separated by a strip of water. They are the general name of the mountains in Qujiang and Renhua counties in Shaoguan City. The mountains, rocks and vegetation are scattered, with a vertical and horizontal area of more than 150 square kilometers. It is a good place for tourists to climb outdoors and get close to nature. The climate in the mountainous area is pleasant, and the trees are lush enough to withstand the sweltering heat. In the deep mountains, there are still many ruins of rock temples and ancient villages, and even rare rock coffins and rock paintings are hidden in them. Legend has it that more than 4,000 years ago, Emperor Shun visited this place in the south, where he was happy, and he climbed high to play music. That's why Shaoshi Mountain got its name.
