Serene Beachfront With Breathtaking Views
#hotelreview
Our second time at this hotel and this time round, we were truly blown away with the hospitality. Check in was a breeze and we loved that they offered refreshing welcome drinks as well as cold scented towels.
For the room, they had the room done up beautifully for our surprise getaway. The day bed was a welcome sight as we got to enjoy the sweeping views of Teluk Bahang. Room size and amenities were good with free mini bar offered during our stay. We also loved the turndown service and are thankful that the staff took great care in accommodating our needs.
Buffet spread was good, and we are especially thankful to the team for helping to arrange a surprise late lunch. The F&B team were so accommodating.
We truly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the service crew. A memorable stay indeed.
The Most Beautiful Resort in Penang Island
📍Angsana Teluk Bahang, Penang
This is truly one of the most beautiful and affordable 5 star resort in Penang Island, it’s located on the high hills of the island. The staff were very welcoming and accommodate to our birthday surprise where they prepared a small towel decor on bed in the room. The room is very spacious and complimentary mini-bar for the first time usage for us. The room has an amazing sea view where we can see the sunset in the evening and hear the calming sea waves on the beach. The hotel is also very eco-friendly where they use a wooden card for room access.
The resort overall is very big and they have a QR code where we can see which spot in the hotel is instagrammable. It has a private beach where only guests are allowed to have access to, the sand is a bit rough tho. The resort has an outdoor resting spot on a higher floor to see the sky and the whole sea and even a beanie area on the beach to chill.

Salt water heals everything.
#hotelstaycation
Leaving the bustling KL city, I went to Penang and I had a wonderful short stay in #angsanatelukbahang.
This resort is very large and has a beautiful view, all rooms are facing the sea. Nice swimming pool and breakfast (quite many choices)
If you like cats, you can walk along the beach (can walk from the resort) to Cat Beach, it’s called #catbeachsanctuary. However, it’s smelly here because there are many abandoned and sick cats, only one person takes care of it.
Because I wanted to watch the whole sunset, so I took a grab from the reasort to #borabora in Ferringhi. You can both enjoy delicious food and watch the sunset here. If you come to Penang and want to relax in a peaceful place, you can consider this resort.

Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm Entopia Tama
A must-visit for plant lovers! Lots of butterflies in a vast enclosed area. It's beautifully landscaped with segmented pathways that flow smoothly. Enclosure for insects and reptiles are well-maintained.
Dark rooms with videos and banners for knowledge sharing. You must pass by these sections to reach the exit, but if you want to skip, don't go up the escalator. Not really my thing, but hey, at least they have air-cond for me to chill after hanging out there under the hot sun.

Queensbay Mall Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
🇻🇳 Authentic Vietnamese Food @ an viet
#myfoodies
Address:
LG-42, Queensbay Mall, 100, Persiaran Bayan Indah, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang
Finally, we found a good Vietnamese restaurant in Bayan Lepas area! Since visiting Hanoi back in 2019, we've been craving for good, authentic Vietnamese meal but there's not much choices available here.
When this restaurant opened at Queensbay Mall, we knew we had to give it a try. We love that we get to choose how much rice or noodles we want, and we can also take our own toppings - a great initiative on lessening food wastage! 👍
Our personal favorite was the Beef Pho and Lemongrass Chicken Salad. As for drinks, do order Egg Coffee! Tastes just as good as back in Vietnam!
They also have really good deals for set lunch, so be sure to check them out! Refer to the last image for Set Lunch menu and pricing.

My family and I went to try out this Vietnamese restaurant in Queensbay Mall, Penang.
There were plenty of seats to accommodate patrons and were spacious. Food was decent and reasonably priced. Portion was good too!
Food we ordered was Vietnamese beef noodles, grilled lemongrass chicken with rice, Clam in coconut broth with vermicelli and braised pork belly in coconut juice rice set. Plus point of the restaurant is that they have a self-serviced condiments bar which i got unlimited supply of basil!
Give it a try if you are craving for a warm hearty bowl of noodle soup!
🥟 Xiao Long Baos @ Dragon-i
#mymymemories
Before Din Tai Fung came into the food scene in Penang, the locals here would flock to Dragon-i to enjoy Xiao Long Bao! They have two branches in Penang - Queensbay Mall and Gurney Plaza.
The quality over the years have downgraded slightly (the chicken we ordered had a foul odour, but to their credit, they removed it from our bill). However, it's still the place to go to for a fancy chinese restaurant meal. Even children will love their dishes here, especially the fried rice!
But of course, the Xiao Long Baos are still not to be missed if you're there!

⭐️ Delectable Dishes at Queens Hall
#mymymemories
Dining options may be aplenty at Queensbay Mall, but if you're looking for something (slightly more) economical and also delicious, the Queens Hall food court is definitely the place to go to! You'll be spoilt with choices!
The crowd favorite is of course the Uncle Kin Chilli Pan Mee! Don't let the queue deter you, it moves really fast! They serve 3 types of pan mee: soup, dry and dry with chilli. If you can't take spicy, take the dry pan mee and add in a little bit of the chilli flakes!
What about OUR recommendation? The Chicken Hor Fun stall serves really good chicken rice! Fragrant rice and velvety chicken, it's all you can ask for in a chicken rice 🍚
What's your favorite stall?

Exploring the Charm of Kampung Agong: A Hidde
Penang, Malaysia is a destination that truly captivates the senses, and nowhere is this more evident than in the charming village of Kampung Agong. Nestled among lush green paddy fields, this tranquil village offers a glimpse into traditional rural life in Malaysia. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with the paddy fields stretching out as far as the eye can see. It is the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, breathing in the fresh air and taking in the natural beauty.
One of the highlights of my visit to Kampung Agong was the opportunity to capture some truly stunning photographs. The village is home to a number of unique art installations that make for great backdrops in photos. The colorful murals and sculptures are truly one-of-a-kind, and I couldn't resist taking a few snaps to remember my visit.
Another highlight of my visit was the opportunity to try#2023travelwish#newyearadventure#tripblazers#awesomepic#couplestrip#deliciousfood#mytripvlog#penang#malaysia some of the freshest coconut water I've ever had. The local vendors were more than happy to hack open a fresh coconut for me and I could taste the natural sweetness of the coconut. It was a refreshing treat on a hot day and it was a perfect way to cool down.
Overall, my visit to Kampung Agong was an experience I will never forget. The combination of stunning scenery, unique art installations, and delicious local treats made for an unforgettable trip. I highly recommend a visit to this charming village for anyone looking for a truly authentic and enriching travel experience.

🥗 Lunch Buffet @ Amaya Food Gallery Penang
#mymymemories
Amaya Food Gallery at Amari SPICE Penang started serving lunch buffets and I thought it'd be a great chance for us to try it out! As of posting (Aug 2023), the lunch buffet is priced at RM98 per person, and RM68 for child or senior citizen.
The theme for today's buffet was "Melting Pot", and it featured local dishes, along with some thai dishes as well. The crowd favorite (my family 🤣) was the Chicken 65 - juicy and succulent, and very fragrant from the spices! My parents specifically loved the fried bihun! There was also ice cream potong available for dessert!
The buffet was a little lacking in terms of choices, but we are hopeful as they are slowly growing in number of patrons! It was still a good lunch, nevertheless!

Relaxing Workcation at Amari Spice Penang ✨
One of the best workcations! The Deluxe Room was clean with a lovely view of Spice Garden. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Soundproof walls and very peaceful environment. 🥱💤
The housekeeping staff was fast in response time and refills the complimentary nutmeg sweets daily. Breakfast buffet spread is one of the best in Penang Island, with a wife variety of pastries, western & asian cuisine. The smoothies were very yummy! 😋
Come on a weekday, there are barely any guests so you will be able to relax by the pool after a long day. Sip on a glass of complimentary iced lemongrass juice by the poolside while working on your latest ideas. 🍹
The hotel is located right next to Spice Convention Centre and has a huge park for the kids to play & run. ⛹️♂️🤾♀️
Price was RM336/day on a normal weekday. Thanks for the hospitality, I will be back very soon! 😉👍
