We didn&#39;t do too well in Barcelona for food until we found this lovely Caribbean restaurant. It has a bright and welcoming decor and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere lively. Our teenage son also enjoyed it. They had a good selection of cocktails and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended, give it a try.

The food was great and the wine was just right. I never really wanted to taste these wines but they matched the food very well and it was great. Highly recommended. Visiting this restaurant was a last minute decision and we managed to find a seat. The restaurant is small, the kitchen is welcoming and the waiters are very friendly. The dishes are great and the red wine is fun and sometimes you will find something new. Well done.

This is my favorite restaurant, none of which mentions Barcelona&#39;s restaurant, this one in the world&#39;s 50 best restaurants ranked 9th, has to mention, the restaurant&#39;s three chefs are also related to Ferran Adria, are former El Bulli restaurant creative director. At this restaurant, they continue Ferran&#39;s creative spirit. They bring the history and culture of Mediterranean cuisine to a full extent through molecular cuisine.

We had a dinner. Very nice decor and service was quick. Our starters and main courses were a mixed bag of very good and quite poor, so there goes my 3 stars. For instance, we had a kind of light crispy round toast with delicious stewed meat which was excellent. We also had some Caribbean patties which were quite dull: not bad, just a shrug. Same for mains: the Cazuela Cartegenera is this gorgeous tasting seafood soup in a coconut curry cream. It tasted amazing, 10 out of 10. However, at about 15 euros for soup, i kind of expect some side bread or small piece of toast or anything! Otherwise I&#39;m basically drinking the soup and in any restaurant in the world (except this one, it seems) it is common sense to serve some bread with a soup, especially at that price. I shouldn&#39;t even have to ask for it. My wife had some top notch beef which was high on gravy, so lovely if that&#39;s your thing. She didn&#39;t appreciate the extreme meatiness. My main issue with Macondo is how Cold it was sitting by the Windows: both tables there were wearing their coats in the restaurant. Surely that&#39;s a fluorescent sign to the waiter that somethings not right. Personally, I did without coat but my legs were shaking by he end of he meal... This worked bad for Macondo, we skipped desserts simply because we were cold and needed to move our legs! So that&#39;s at least 15 euros out of their turnover for the evening (what does it cost to turn the heater up?)
