Park Güell is an artistic Garden of Eden outside paradise designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. It is located on Carmel Hill in Barcelona. In addition to a variety of different forms of architecture, the park also has brightly colored mosaics in the shapes of different animals, such as colorful lizards guarding the gate. A visit to the park offers the opportunity to tour the former residence of Gaudí, located on the winding mountain road of Park Güell, where the architectural visionary lived a quiet life on the mountainside.

Casa Batlló is a uniquely designed building in the “Illa de la Discordia” block of Barcelona. It is the visceral, representative work of the genius architect Antoni Gaudí in the most mature stage of his work. The walls of the entire building are covered with colored mosaics, with a roof that looks like fish scales, pillars like human bones and mask-shaped balconies, all full of magical colors, shapes and patterns. Each evening the lights illuminate the building and it becomes even more stunning as it reflects and shimmers in the light.

The Guell Palace was built by Gaudi in 1888 and was the creator of the great atmosphere of Gaudí. In 1984, he was selected as a World Heritage Site. The Guer family's coat of arms, cast in wrought iron between the arches, is extraordinary. The design of the parabolic dome in the central hall is ingenious, and the vaults and columns are clearly influenced by the Alhambra. The chimneys of different styles are the ancestors of many bold chimneys designed by Gaudi.

Montjuïc Castle is a large fortress located on the top of Montjuïc hill in Barcelona, Spain. The castle was built in the seventeenth century to hold political prisoners, a role which continued until the late twentieth century. In the Spanish imagination the castle is a symbol of oppression and evil, an image stemming from its use as a torture and execution center during the Spanish Civil War. At present, the building houses a military museum, but plans exist to transform it into a museum celebrating international peace.

is now a public museum featuring self-designed furniture, decorations, drawings, and portraits of the Spanish architect.
