The "Danshi Courtyard" of Lao She's former residence is in the rich alley of Dengshikou West Street in Dongcheng District. In the spring of 1954, Mr. Lao She personally planted two persimmon trees in this small courtyard. Every fall, heavy persimmons would fall on the trees. Many of Lao She's works were completed here, such as the drama "Fang Pearl", "Longxugou", "Tea House", the unfinished autobiographical novel "Zhenghong's Flag" and so on. The bedroom and study room is the quietest place in the whole courtyard. In fact, the courtyard of this former residence is a place of "quiet in the noisy".

LaoShe Memorial Hall is located in the 19 Courtyard of the Fufu Hutong, Dengshikou West Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was originally LaoShe's former residence, that is, "DanYan Xiaoyuan", which is a small old Beijing courtyard. The small black door sits in the west facing east. The entrance is a small courtyard. There are only two south rooms and a sanheyuan. Unintentionally found, worth a visit
Located in the rich alley of West Street of Dengshikou, a small courtyard is very warm. Laoshe lived here for 16 years. Teahouse, Zhenghong flag, Longxugou and other famous works were born here.
The teahouses of Lao She, a famous writer, are mostly read and are simple and deep. The memorials here show more works of artists, and they are outstanding.
Laoshe Memorial Hall is the place where Laoshe lived, and Mr. Laoshe wrote many classic novels and prose, such as camel Xiangzi
