Songtang Hall

Songtang is a building in the Summer Palace. In a remote place, the Summer Palace is not the main building of the Summer Palace, but the construction is small and exquisite, the overall feeling is very good, and the style is also Ming and Qing architecture.

Songtang is located near the Xiangshan Tuancheng Yanwu Hall. It was originally a small open hall next to the burning incense temple "Lai Yuanzhai". The burning incense temple was built in the 14th year of Qing Qianlong and is a place for the emperor Gao Zong to rest during the parade in Tuancheng. Worth a look!

It used to be the burning incense temple, built during Qianlong, and was the place where the emperor watched the parade and rested. There were many white skin pine around, so it was called Songtang.

Songtang is located in the Summer Palace, from the Beigong Gate, and after Suzhou Street. Here, the pine and cypress are lush, the ancient trees are towering, and the Songtang is in the pine needle forest. Now it has become a fast food restaurant, only the building is still there.

The surrounding area is guarded by many white leather pine, which is the origin of the Songtang name.
