We had lunch here one day during our shopping trip. The place is very good. My husband ordered the two curry sausages Berlin style and I ordered the baked potato. Both of them were excellent. We were able to eat for less than 30 euros. I recommend this place.
This is probably how a German grandmother would cook. Portions were large. Prices were around EUR 10 for a main dish. This is a place to eat, not a fancy dinner place.
We have visited Berlin previously and had been to this restaurant, the food was lovely last time we visited so we thought we would take our friends. The German food was delicious and our friends loved it, having not eaten German food before. The waiter could not do enough for us and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant looks over the Europa centres and the amazing clock in the centre. Everything as in Germany was very clean and tidy. Would definately recommend this restaurant.
It always helps, when someone recommends you some place to eat! So, we got references and decided to check if I can rely on my friends. And YES, it was good choice for traditional German cuisine and beer! I also advise to book a table, while place is very popular among local people too and especially on weekends & evenings. Food was classy and tasty. Service was excellent and very attentive, plus with some advises on food choice! They also has special month dishes, which was very good. Please, note that portion sizes are large and beer tasty!
