Vatsala Durga Temple

There is a tall building on the Duba Square. It is the temple of the goddess of Nepal. It is a traditional North Indian architectural style. There are many exquisite sculptures in the building. The building itself is built in stone. It is still tenacious for hundreds of years.

I remember walking several temples that day, and I couldn't tell which one to go. It seemed that a joint ticket could be reached. I feel that the local faith is strong, and many details are worth watching. There are really many Chinese tourists.

The Temple of the Goddess of Batsala, located opposite the 55 Window Palace, was built in 1737 to be dedicated to Batsala, another form of expression for the goddess, the goddess of the hard to get close (over the evil goddess). The temple is built in sandstone, beautifully shaped, tower-topped, and finely carved. On the steps of the tower there is a small bell called the dog barking bell, and next to it there is a big bell called the Taleju Bell. In ancient times, if petitioners complained about their dissatisfaction, they could ring the Taleju Bell, reminding the king to pay attention, which is equivalent to singing a drum.

Badgang, located about 14 kilometers east of Kathmandu, was once Nepal's most well-preserved ancient city. Also called: Old Palace. The great earthquake in 2015 caused serious damage to this millennium old city, and many famous buildings are now being repaired. The Goddess of Batsala Temple is a very important building in the old palace. It worships the Goddess of Batsala. Nepalese women often come here to pray.
