🇵🇭 🔝Bohol - must see⤴️
🌟One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the unique attractions that Bohol has to offer, including the Tarsier Conservation Area and the Butterfly Sanctuary.
1️⃣The Tarsier Conservation Area was an absolute delight. These adorable, tiny creatures are native to the Philippines, and getting to see them up close in their natural habitat was a truly magical experience. The conservation area is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and conducive environment for the tarsiers, allowing visitors like me to observe them without causing any disturbance. It was incredible to witness their big, expressive eyes and witness their nimble movements as they leaped from tree to tree. ✅The knowledgeable guides provided insightful information about the tarsiers and their conservation efforts, which made the experience even more meaningful.
🌟Aside from the attractions, Bohol itself is a stunning island that offers so much more. Its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush green landscapes create a postcard-perfect backdrop for any adventure. Whether snorkeling in the vibrant coral reefs, cruising along the Loboc River, or exploring the mysterious Chocolate Hills, every moment felt like a dream come true. Definitely will be back.

What an amazing experience, Something I'll treasure for the rest of my life. The tarsiers are adorable and the staff are amazing and friendly as they take you around to view these tiny beautiful little creatures. Highly recommended
This was an absolutely amazing experience. I saw videos on youtube about these tiny little creatures but when you see them in person they are breathtaking. This sanctuary is a proper sanctuary and it is not over commerialised. the focus here is on the tarsiers and not selling merchandise. the staff take care of these animals and tarsiers go out hunting and come back to the sanctuary. also a very informative video at the centre about how tarsiers have been around for 45 million years. i hope there is no more development where these creatures are found or they might be the next animal we cause to become extinct
The monkey is a national treasure of the Philippines and can only be seen at close range on Bohol Island. The monkey Tarsier is very petite, with gray or yellow hair, and its round, raised eyes are like a pair of heavy glasses, so it is called the monkey. Its overall length is about 10 cm, and an adult finger can lift it completely. Glasses are good at climbing and jumping, and can travel freely between the jungles. They often rest during the day and forage at night, often relying on the fruits of plants or small insects for their livelihood.
The Bohol Philippine Tarsier Conservation Area is a must-see attraction when visiting Bohol. It is a place where tarsiers are being bred with a goal to preserve endangered animals.
Going to this place was definitely one of the highlights of my Cebu-Bohol trip! Seeing these cutie lil animals made my heart so happy. Don't miss this place!
Heard that Tarsiers as a tourist attraction are owned by private individuals, and not by the government. This is such a disturbing fact since tarsiers are endangered animals, and should be taken care well-enough.Why did I give a 4 star rating? Simply because the experienced to see a tarsier (before its impending extinction) was a wonderful one.Hoping that we, humans, respect them when they are sleeping during day time (we should observe silence, and do not take photos with flash).
