grace-luckyLake Bolsena is the largest freshwater lake in Italy. Quiet town, the air is fresh and negative oxygen ions are high. Under the warm and sunny sun, big and big white clouds hung low above the head, and the lake was blue and sparkling. There are large groups of wild ducks on the water. White sailing boat, old man fishing leisurely by the lake. Just want to sit quietly all afternoon. Plum9195One of my favorite places to visit in Rome is the Colosseum. Book tickets in advance so your wait time is not as long, because it is always crowded. The tour of the underground areas is limited in numbers, but is worth the extra expense. A good tour guide really explains the meaning of what you are seeing and adds to the experience. My children enjoyed this attraction as much as the adults. Sometimes there are discounts for students if you have a student ID.

IvayloI will recommend pre buying Skip the line tickets so you don't spend a huge amount of time in the queue. What I did was to buy the audio guide. All you need is to either pre buy it or buy the access on the spot. You will need to download the app, put your access code, download the audio guide and bring your own headphones. If you don't bring headphones, that's fine too, you can get a pair for 1 euro from the Basilica.

BorpborpAbsolutely gorgeous! I would say definitely go during the day to get the full picture, but if you can only go once, go at night. There are less people, it won't be as hot (granted it was mid august when I went haha) and it is beautiful at night.
