Ambiance cosy, and beautiful base, so deceptive of quality. Sugar cut to water, all, and badly balance food in salted bases. Too much toast, not enough sauce/accompanying compared to garnishing.

We booked the L&#39;Origenel for valentine&#39;s evening whilst we were in Bordeaux. The meal we had was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Lovely small intimate restaurant. The service was top notch and would recommend anyone visiting Bordeaux to give it a try.

The server was very knowledgeable and recommended great wines. The atmosphere was relaxed. Charcuterie was top-notch.

Amazing wine bar!  Owners were extremely friendly and helpul! They gave great recommendaions on food and wine.  Definitely would return!

We ate here for my mum&rsquo;s birthday meal while visiting Bordeaux - we wanted something special &amp; memorable and 428 certainly was. The hostess was so lovely and accommodated our lack of French, the food was excellent and overall we had a great experience. Merci beaucoup!

Je ne m&#39;attendais pas &agrave; un lieu comme celui-ci. C&#39;est grand, d&eacute;co style brocante avec des vieux livres et un petit chien tout mimi qui nous accueille.Le brunch &eacute;tait d&eacute;licieux, on s&#39;est r&eacute;gal&eacute;es.On reviendra !

I didn&#39;t expect a place like this. It&#39;s great, deco-style brocant with old books and a little mimi-dog who welcomes us.The brunch was delicious, we gave ourselves.We&#39;ll come back!
