I accidentally visited it. The environment in the basement is very quiet. Although there are not many works, they are all very interesting. It is a good place to walk around in the afternoon leisure time. There are also delicious coffee shops nearby.

I studied & worked at QUT from 2006 to 2012 and visited the Art Museum many times. I recently came back as a patron (still free entry!) and not a lot has changed in over 10 years (same space, layout etc). It’s a small contemporary art gallery that has some interesting work (internally curated exhibitions, commissioned projects, touring exhibitions). Traditional art you will not find as it leans towards edgier post-modern art (sculptures/installation art, use of multimedia, etc). It’s right opposite the Botanic Gardens and a convenient stop off while exploring the city.
There are many kinds of my own, the wild display is out, good, a family can pre-two hours
Queensland University of Technology Art Museum, beautiful, famous works.
Hidden in the lower floor of the Chancellery building is a small art gallery. I recently came here with a friend and as usual on a university campus, we were a little lost when looking for a museum. But once we found it, we saw the exhibition Dadang Christanto, very authoritative, too worthwhile. Access is free, so check it out.
