The story bridge is Brisbane's most iconic structure, rising above the city. It's the best way to get a unique perspective of the city . For 90 buck you are able to climb on to the top of the bridge . personally i think is a waste of money and effort . walking along the bridge give u the same view after all . by corssing the bridge you are able to reach krangoon point . it take about 15 min or so then take a ferry back to cbd . where u can take a full view of the cbd and bridge
Story bridge, a bridge connects eagle street pier and kangaroo point. At eagle pier side, you can see many people chill at Howard Smith Wharves (HSW) after working hour, beers, bar snacks, laugh - is a very relaxing place, you can enjoy the river view by taking a walk from eagle street pier to HSW. After which, you can take the escalator up and start to walk across the bridge (this is free). Similar to Sydney bridge, you can also purchase ticket and climb up to the top of bridge, personally feel that view from Sydney bridge is much better than Story bridge. The other side of the bridge is a slightly quiet area, mostly for residential purpose, not as happening as new farm park. After walk around the kangaroo point area, we took a ferry back to eagle street pier. The bridge is lighted up at night.
Brisbane is close to the Pacific Ocean and east of the Tasman Sea. It is a city that develops inland from coastlines, rivers and ports to the west. The city centre is located on the Brisbane River, which serves as the political and transportation axis for the state to extend north and south. Brisbane's international airports and seaports are located on both sides of the Brisbane estuary.
Story Bridge, in fact, there is no story at all. It is just a literal translation from English by our Chinese people. It was built in 1940. It is a steel bridge. If you have been to Sydney, you will find that the Sydney Rail Bridge is very similar to it. Yes, they were designed by the same designer, and it's still a big brother.
Situated on the Brisbane River, the story bridge can't see anything during the day, but it's very beautiful at night. Especially in the city Hopper free sightseeing boat, the story bridge has brilliant colored lights, the building lights on both sides of the Straits have different shapes, and the breeze touches the face. It feels great!
There is no story on the story bridge. It's very close to where I live. Every day I look up and see the bridge. Known as Australia's largest locally manufactured steel cable-stayed bridge, it connects CBD and Kangaroo Corner and spans the Brisbane River. Every night, the bridge lights up, especially for the Eagle Street Pier Restaurant on the other side of the river. The bridge has also developed adventure and recreation programs that are open to visitors to climb.
Brisbane Story Bridge, Australia, how many stories have happened here, Story Bridge does not have any stories, just because the designer is called Story. The perfect city, a river, a bridge in my mind is enough. Story Bridge Although it is named for John Douglas Story, there is no "story", but different angles, different views, different places tell you different "story", story bridge.
Story Bridge is the most famous bridge in Brisbane. The building materials are all from Australia. It is one of the two handmade bridges in the world. Story Bridge is also a bridge that can be climbed. Bridge climbing is a project that can not be missed in viewing Brisbane panorama. No story on the story bridge is also one of the interesting places.
The designer of the story bridge is called story, so the bridge is named after the story. The bridge is very big, it is a very strong iron bridge. Of course, it is also very long. It is very common to see the bridge in the daytime, but it is really beautiful to see the bridge in the evening. There are beautiful lights everywhere.
