This is a beautiful park and worth the walk. It is used frequently for events such as those we attended with Jimmy Barnes. It is set out in beautiful flowers and well preserved gardens and is very beautifully set out. Great to sit down for lunch or to attend an event whether you are going to see it, the city council often places portable toilets at the event venues, but there is a regular fixed toilet below the bleachers that enter from the side of Sheridan Street.
These green spaces are perfect for strolling and admiring all plant species, as well as birds and butterflies, for picnics or concerts. Credit to Cairns City Council. Some interesting places, but if you want plants/gardens to go on the way to Cairns Botanic Gardens.
The park in the rainforest is interesting and has a lot of novelty
