The Saladin Castle, also known as Cairo Castle, is located on the Mugetam Mountain in the eastern suburbs of Cairo. The castle is high above sea level, and was built in the 11th century by General Saladin to resist the invasion of the Crusaders. The Saladin Castle is divided by inner city and outer city. The rulers of the dynasties have left ruins here. There is also the famous Muhammad Ali Mosque in Egypt, which is worth visiting.
