From July to October each year, salmon's migratory spawning will attract many whales to the straits around Victoria - killer whales, grey whales, minke whales and humpback whales. We booked a tour of Orca Spirit Adventures and a group of foreigners taking a whale watching boat out to sea. After boarding the ship, the professional guide who knows the sea area will tell us the difference between the shape and habits of the local marine wildlife and different whale species. Crossing the Juan de Fuca Strait, the whale watching boat stopped near a mini island with a lighthouse. There was no one on the island, and a group of seals called "" calmly lie on the shore and basking in the sun, and used it as their own territory. It seems that the seas in the vicinity of this island have not yet appeared their natural enemies - killer whales, otherwise they will not be so calm. Although there are no killer whales, there are still humpback whales that feed on small fish and small shrimps. The eyes follow the instructions of the crew. We saw a few floating in the water. Humpback whale! I witnessed the twenty-thousand-ton-ton giant behemoth playing on the water, and I always felt that there was a loss of realism. They are also very good at making "suspense", disappearing after a few times in a place, we can only be patient on the ship, wait a few minutes, and then look back in their completely different directions.
