There are people in the pine tree on New Year's Day, not "unmanned" shrines, and it seems that they support red stamps and sell receipts. The road in front is mainly visited by tourists, and there are not many locals. Inbound walking with a large suitcase? There are many foreigners. The reasonable hotel "Apa Hotel" on the west side of Kyoto Station is also close by, and there are many relatively young couples. Doso no Kami is a 2 God of the couple of sarutahiko no Okami and Tenjo no Mikoto, and is also worshiped as a god of marriage ...

There are few unmanned stations in Tokyo and Kyoto, but there are a lot of unmanned shrines. Is this such an unmanned shrine always cleaned? It's clear that there are people working even if you're not resident. I expected a little because it was written in a review here or somewhere that there was a cat on the stairs, but I'm sorry I didn't stay this time.

    It's a shrine with a history.

    Original Text

It is a small shrine on the north side of Kyoto Station. It was relocated to this area during the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era, but it is originally a shrine with a long history. The deities enshrin the two pillars of sarutahiko no Mikoto, the god of travel, and Amano Uzume no Mikoto, the god of performing arts, as couple gods. It is also worshiped as a god of praying for a good marriage and a good marriage. The stone statue of the couple was smiling.
