Hewei National Forest Park is seven kilometers away from the western suburbs of Changde. It is adjacent to Jianhe River in the east, Yuanshui River in the south, and Taoyuan in the west. With a total area of more than 300 hectares, it is one of the famous Buddhist mountains in southern Chuan. There are 56 large and small mountains, 42 valleys, 115 families and 542 plant species, and the forest coverage rate is over 90%. Due to the steep terrain, it is the throat leading to Western Hunan, Sichuan and Guizhou, and it has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times. Hewei Mountain was once the main battlefield of the "China-Germany Battle". The seven dark castles of that year are still well-preserved, and the five fireworks towers still exist, which will become the witness of history. There are more than 50 places of historical interest here, Xianyuan Pass, Xihou Temple, Jinlu Cave, Xubailu, Zhuodaoquan, Daughter's Tomb, especially Taihe Temple, Cui Po Well, Rhino Mouth and Moon Well, which are even more peculiar and new. The established resorts, picnic ridges, and cherry blossom ridges have different charms. The water, electricity and road infrastructure in the park are complete, and there are some houses. The construction area is about 4,000 square meters. There are many famous and ancient trees, and the ecological environment is beautiful. Over the years, two scenic spots, Taihe View and Botanical Garden, have been developed. There are still vacations. Scenic spots such as villa areas, catering culture and entertainment villages, and comprehensive amusement parks are in urgent need of development.
Come here in summer, walk up a ladder, blow the cool wind in the mountains, don't mention more comfortable! It's cooler and you can invite three or five friends to barbecue. Nice place! 👍
This is an odd sort of park. It’s more like a road through the forest with a few rural houses and other buildings scattered around. It is pretty but not very walkable and it’s not quick to hire a car back to the city. If there are hiking trails or walkways they are not well marked. There are better places in Hunan to walk in the forest. But if you have a car or like to wander it’s not a bad place to check out.
Don't go here without a car. It is basically an abandoned attraction. The visitor center is closed. It can only be driven by locals. It is not suitable for outsiders. There is a road hall on the top of the mountain. It is small but interesting. The transportation method is to take the bus 42 in the town of Shanxia. , A place to travel
Forest coverage is more than 90 percent. Not only is it a resort for people to vacation and sightseeing, but also a large classroom for revolutionary traditional education, popular science education and quality education, but also a rare green conference center and sanatorium.
