Since ancient times, Changzhou has been a place that has produced illustrious people, and many of the most accomplished personages hail from here. It is one of the sites where the Wu culture originated. The ancient relics and structures of Changzhou are in abundance, and places like Tianning Temple, Dongpo Garden, and the historical ruins park of Weidun all manifest Changzhou's profound historical heritage. Nanshan's bamboo forests and the hot springs of Tianmu Lake are both some of Changzhou's precious natural resources. In the Summer you can come cool off and escape the summer heat, while in the winter you can comfortably soak in the hot water. In addition, Changzhou Theme Park, China Dinosaur Park, Yancheng Spring and Autumn Park, and Play Valley are all popular places for kids and parents alike to have fun.
E31***64This place is very peaceful! The air is so clean! Bamboo sea took one whole day to see and there is also a hot springs nearby worth visiting on another day. The hike to the top is very intense but the view was worth it! you can see animals along the way but only the Pandas are treated well. The food in the area is not very good! Bring your own snacks! It is in a small town so brush up on your Chinese! The park does have English signs inside.
JCNmy colleagues and i had a great experience at the hotsprings. there are a variety of hot pool from, lavender, rose and wine, beer, bamboo, fish that eat dead skin, hydro massage bubbles type of thing. the staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the area tidy and clean at all times.. the hotel room we stayed in was big and equipped with everything and a balcony. in the mornings we could go down to the dining area for a full breakfast with 100s of different foods to choose. was truly a 5 star experience.
顾文佳Going to Hantian and Yushui two hot springs, have to say that Hantian is too much, hot springs soaked in the pool is indeed each has each different, the scenery is also Hantian's more beautiful! I didn't take the lake view, my sister took it, especially beautiful, the planning is very reasonable and human! Will come back later!
candy8989The scenery is very good, especially the night view is good, you can take a slow walk or take a sightseeing bus. There are dance shows in the attractions, but it was a pity that I went there a year ago, some stopped, maybe there were more people during the New Year, I saw a movie~ Pangu opened the world, the screen is very special, quite interesting, I also listened to a review of the book, good [interesting] very good [view] very good [price/performance] can [interesting]
Breakfast was excellent and fresh with big variety of food. Egg station was nice and the chef there made perfect omelette with vegetables. Noodles were also freshly made in front of you which gives great experience besides tasty breakfast. This breakfast area on the first floor is spacious with plenty of sunlight which is great in the morning.
Hotel is in the great location. gym was not too crowded and clean. staff was helpful and friendly. It was nice to have drinks at the luxury lounge on 46th floor. view from this lounge bar was nice on whole city. in the morning it also serves for breakfast which is nice experience.
Tianning temple, Changzhou. A nice day out visiting one of China tallest temples. going into and up the pagoda was the highlight as half of it is open as a museum, and once at the top the views of the city were stunning
Qingguo lane historic district in Changzhou is a beautifully restored and elegant area to stroll and take in then air. Watch out for the many bronze statues and plaques with details from history.
Amazing week well spend at the bamboo forest.
Loads of hiking trails and the views are amazing!
The hot springs was the best!!! Not too many people and very friendly staff members.
I would love to go again!!!
This Spring Festival rainy day is more than sunny! The continuous rainy days give the line some trouble and make people feel restless! Finally, I waited until the seventh day of the sky was clear, because tomorrow basically went to work, so I caught the last day of the Spring Festival and got two friends to go to Huagu, the first time I saw the scenery, saw a lot of flowers, and all kinds of things. The bright color of the open. Once let yourself feel the fairy kingdom of the flower fairy! Walk into the scenic area, along a long path, on both sides of the road, there are some small potted plants built with unique craftsmanship! On the way forward, I saw a few bunches of plum blossoms bloom quietly! Really not afraid of the cold only plum! It takes about an hour to walk down in a circle! This is a place to go for a leisurely and slow life! Suitable for relaxing! Good place!
Rural China has lots of opportunities for interesting pictures. These were take in Heather fields. The plants are also used in Chinese Medicine usually as a tea. Or that is what the guide said. It is fun if you are in the area, but not worth a special trip. #wintergetaway
