Bring the kids every Friday at sunset. I believe they are closed all winter. Adults love it as much as the kids do
So fortunate to have the observatory in our town.
If you haven't checked out the observatory on one of the open nights, you are missing out. We've seen planets, nebula, eclipses, meteor showers. All sorts of celestial magic!
Go before it gets dark.
Sadly we were unable to even go in because the line was WAY too long. I'm sure it's lovely but I would arrive right when it opens and just wait the two hours or so until it's dark.
