Du Fu Caotang is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China. It is said that it was originally built next to a tall nan tree and is now the largest relic of the cuckoo in China. Du Fu Caotang has only one acre when it was built, but the things in the courtyard are very rich, and there are many ponds, wells, and water pipes. After reading the monuments and historical introductions in the cottage, I always feel closer to Du Fu.
