Net Red Shop Huen Phen
The dishes are Thai.
For convenience, we had a set menu for both of us, and we could taste every dish
Overall, Thai food is spicy and there is acid in it.
The curry and fried chicken were very good and the glutinous rice was very good
Banana coconut milk is a bit greasy
Card Chiang Mai net red shop, originally want to come in the afternoon not many people, did not expect that although it is hung with Huen Phen sign, but next door two stores, the main store in the review will be opened after 5:00 pm, but also enjoy the cleanliness of no one. "Fried Chicken" Thai fried chicken is a local feature, this taste can only say that the best; "Rice" in bamboo basket, looking at the incense to eat also incense, a little dry; "Ao Papaya Salad" Thai popular salad, every home is similar, every time eating can not be tired. After the meal, with the owner's consent, to the next door shop to visit, indeed the layout is a good, or the atmosphere at night, no light and popularity, sitting in so many people in the day or more uncomfortable.
The whole restaurant is very crowded. The Thai meal is very small, we ordered a large platter, and the waiter signaled that this is two people without ordering other. It tastes not bad, it is very delicious, like!
Huen Phen is my "go-to-place" in Chiang Mai. I prefer the outdoor cafe for lunch instead of the dinner building next door (open evenings). There''s another cafe on the outskirts of town, serving the same delicious Lanna (Northern Thai) dishes at reasonable prices.
Main dishes: Taibei sausage salad, fresh and spicy Dongyin Gong soup, bamboo shoots brewed pork, cooked fish in the river, special egg fried rice. The environment is very good, we went to most of the time is Chinese, but the waiter does not speak Chinese. Very Thai food, but children do not like to eat.
The biggest problem in this store is that there are not enough people. When ordering, the menu just came up and had not seen the two-page menu. It was always asked by the side. When you check out, you have to wait a long time. You ordered snacks, snack platters, noodles, fried rice, fried chicken. You also bought a dessert at the beginning, and it is not bad.
Personally, no matter which restaurant you choose in Chiang Mai, the unique taste of Southeast Asian cuisine rarely has a thunderstorm! The price is very affordable, if it is authentic Thai cuisine, that Thai cuisine feels really not to the taste of Chinese. Cool food and pig blood soup are good, recommended.
