The Redmouth Riverside Restaurant is located in 46/1 Wang Sing Kham Road | Chang Moi, Chiang Mai 50300, Thailand is on the riverside, there is a large wooden observation platform, it was raining when we went, so I can't eat on the observation platform, the food is very good, especially the winter Yingong soup, tastes very good, It is the best food in Chiang Mai!
A local restaurant with a good environment by the river, recommend shrimp cakes, grilled fish, delicious and inexpensive.
A big restaurant on the Chiang Mai River. The prawns in it are super good, and the yellow ones are also very good with seafood pineapple rice. There are prawns and mussels. The price is more expensive than other restaurants and cheaper than in China.
The restaurant is located by the river, so it has some natural good location, the view is very good, especially when night falls, with the beautiful lighting, it is more charming, the dishes taste good, and there are delicious grilled seafood
It cost about 72 baht to take a taxi to the restaurant from the southeast corner where we live. It’s strange that Paak Dang only opens at 5pm and stays open until 10:30pm. The restaurant is facing the river, so I can’t enjoy it at night. River view. The sign is big and easy to find. We found a table outside, along the river. There were about five or six tables outside. After seated, there were two packs of a small package like a disposable shower gel shampoo with a mosquito pattern on it. I found out that it was mosquito repellent when I was shopping on 7-11. To be honest, sitting outdoors, there are a lot of mosquitoes. There will be live performances at 7 or 8 o'clock. Paak Dang’s most famous dish is the grilled prawns. A prawn is as big as a palm and sold by weight, 200 baht/100g. You can choose different sauces, Thai seafood sauce, Thai basil sauce, and garlic paste. Basil sauce. The prawns were grilled in half and topped with sauce. The fried yellow curry with fresh flower crab depends on the weight of the crab. A serving of yellow curry with crab is about 1,500 to 1,700 baht. I am quite satisfied with this dish. The crab claws are oversized, and the shell is cut, revealing very plump crab meat. In addition, a tongs were given when serving dishes, which were used to smash crab shells. The crab meat is fried with celery and onion. The yellow curry is rich in milky flavor. Adding a little chili is not very spicy. It suits our taste. After eating the crab meat, you can also have a bowl of rice. Don’t waste the fragrant flavor. It’s a pity that I couldn’t eat the curry sauce. Thai Tom Yum Seafood Hot and Sour Soup is a small portion 250 baht and a large portion 350 baht. Tom Yam seafood soup is also a must-eat in Thailand. In addition to prawns, mussels, mushrooms, there are many Thai spices such as lemon leaves and ginger. With lemongrass, it's a bit spicy, and you can eat several bowls of rice with seafood soup. The seafood soup is served in a small silver hot pot with candles to keep the temperature underneath. The most praised by us is the stir-fried water spinach. I occasionally buy water spinach in Shanghai, but when my mother ate it, I thought it was too delicious! Why can't I get the taste like this? I don't know if there are condiments such as shrimp paste and tempeh. Anyway, the taste is good and the dishes are very tender. Seafood pineapple fried rice 200 baht pineapple fried rice has been eaten several times in Thailand. Every place is different. Paak Dang's pineapple fried rice is an enhanced version. It uses jasmine rice, mussels, shrimp meat, and crunchy cashews. There are also pineapple cubes. The side dish is served with cucumber slices and tomato slices. The container is a hollowed out fresh pineapple. Thai style steamed red tilapia with lime juice 350 baht Thai style steamed lemon fish, a large tilapia, the fish is very tender, a whole tilapia steamed with a slightly spicy lime juice, chili and garlic fish. Dip it in the sour and spicy lemon-flavored soup, but if there are not many people, it is a bit uneconomical to order, because it is too big to finish, and the bottom is heated to maintain the temperature when it is served. The restaurant has a total of 60 seats. It was during the rainy season in Thailand. We saw lightning in the distance while we were eating. We hurried to eat, but after finally taking a taxi and returning home, it rained heavily as soon as we stepped into the door of the hotel room.
This local restaurant tastes great, recommend Tom Yum Goong, Coconut Soup, Curry Crab, and the price is a bit more acceptable.
