In fact, this Miao village is not far from the straight line of Chiang Mai. But because it exists in a valley, driving into it by oneself is rather rugged. Hears the person to introduce here in the valley, originally planted is the poppy. Later, a variety of crops were changed. The village looked poorer, and many of the children were in rags.
The Miao village of Peishan in Chiang Mai is located behind Su Tie Mountain. It was originally a Miao village. Now it has opened up a tourist area. Miao is the representative of the ethnic groups in the mountainous area of northern Tai. It is one of the six mountain ethnic groups in northern Tai. The villagers here still retain the traditional costumes and living habits of the ethnic minorities. The most beautiful area of the Miao village is the sloping land with flourishing flowers.
Looked at the comments, good and bad, I think it is more in line with my heart yearning, dog barking, chicken singing, birds and flowers, mountains and rivers, two or three cottages. I like it very much, but also met a thigh-hugging child, simply took a photo. Bless every hard-working and simple Miao people here.
Eco-tourism has become the key industry of Tashan Yao nationality township. Tashan Yao nationality township has issued special tourism planning, including "Paradise Mountain, Xijiang Drifting, Dongjiang Canyon, Salt Tea Road, Nanjiang Garden, Princess Temple, Monkey Beach Falls, Yao Customs, Tea Garden Tourism" and other tourism resources, outlining the "Spring Flowering, Summer Drifting, Autumn Tracing Stream, Winter Appreciating Snow" scenic scroll, which provides a good blueprint for Tashan eco-tourism. In recent years, we have supported the poor people to set up 8 tourist shops, 35 farmhouse local vegetable shops, 5 local specialty outlets, 3 large reception centers, 300,000 tourists a year, and promoted the employment of more than 300 poor households. The tourism with Yao ethnic characteristics as the main national flavor adds luster to Tashan ecological tourism.
There is only one commercial souvenir street in the Miao village on the Suteishan Mountains. It is impossible to see the original life of the villagers. Walking into the village path, I happened to meet a group of children playing in the village. It was lovely to watch them picking plums. Happiness could be very simple.
The road in Peishan Miao Village is pitted, so drive carefully. Don't expect to see an Amazonian tribe living in the jungle, with modern village facilities, but you'll see how they used to live in the mountains of China, Myanmar and Thailand. The scenery of the garden and Wushan is beautiful. Clothes, bags, silk and accessories are also sold in the village, which is much cheaper than the Chiang Mai night market.
In the suburbs of Chiang Mai, near Su Tie Shan, the traffic is not very convenient. There are still traditional Miao customs in it. There are many unique handicraft ornaments which are very beautiful. They are a good place to feel the characteristics of ethnic minorities.
