Suthep Mountain is not high in elevation, the road is flat, and the drive is not too far. The winding mountain road is winding up, you can choose to ride up by yourself. The smoke along the way is full of smoke. You can stop at the viewing platform where you can see Chiang Mai’s Panoramic view, beautiful scenery of the park, serene winding path, gurgling water, it is recommended that long clothes and trousers are more convenient, there are temples on the top of the mountain, you need slippers, and you need to buy tickets, and you can enjoy the night view there, which is definitely good reward.
Doi Suthep is a must see! Although the stairs to the top seem endless, don't stop until you make it to the top! half way up the stairs, there is a little marketplace that sells jewelry and art! At the top, you'll see beautiful wats, monks in practice, and girls from the local villages perform dances as well. Soooo beautiful!
One of the highest points in Chiang Mai. The mountain itself is accessible in many different ways offering various experiences. One could bike up the mountain, take a moped up its steep climb or just take a Songathew (Local taxi) like I did. While it is home to the famous temple, the area surrounding the temlpe is a little village with a lot of local entries and wonderful places to stop and grab a bite to eat.
