There is a river-crossing bridge on Pinghe River outside the ancient city of Chiang Mai, which has a history of several decades. The scenery here is very beautiful, the river is wide, the flow is smooth, there are riverside markets and various restaurants around, the taste is also very good.
It's a nice bridge. Worth visiting if you are in the area It's a nice bridge. Worth visiting if you are in the area. I would come here just before sunset and cross to the side furthest from the night market. You get a really good view of the sunset. The bridge itself is nicely lit up at night.
The scenery along the way is beautiful and there are not many cars in the evening.
For a foreigner, it's just an iron bridge. However, I guess it's a historic landmark in Chiang Mai. It might be valuable to take a simple picture of a good restaurant on the river beside the Tieqiao. In the evening, there are coloured lights on the bridge, which are very beautiful. Sometimes Thais sell fireworks on the bridge.
Pinghe Railway Bridge is on the Meiping River in Chiang Mai. We walk south from the main street of Meiping Hotel. A small road leads to the Meiping River. The railway bridge is also in front of us. There is a market beside it. It is not very busy in the daytime. No tickets are needed. Just look at the scenery.
