Wat Saen Muang Ma Luang or Wat Hua Khuang Ancient temple restored Beautiful with Lanna architecture
Come to Wat Saen Muang Ma Luang (Hua Khuang), meaning "the temple that Phra Chao Saen Muang built" is located in the moat. In the past, this monastery was considered another very important city temple. Because it is used as a place for military meetings and various important religious ceremonies Another important temple in Chiang Mai i🇹🇭😀📷🌳🙏🇹🇭
I was surprised to find that this temple didn’t get the attention it deserved... The architectural and artistic beauty of this temple far exceeds the many temples I visited in Chiang Mai and Bangkok, including Suthem, and I feel it is overrated (if you’ve never seen a mountain in your life, You can go there). Since you don’t have to pay for admission, it’s great value, be sure to keep quiet and wear some proper clothes, as many temples advertise. In my opinion, if you go to Chiang Mai and don't see the temple, it's like going to Bangkok and not visiting the Grand Palace.
Wat Saen Muang Ma Luang (Wat Hua Khuang), a beautiful temple with Lanna art.
I accidentally passed by the temple nearby, and was attracted by its golden appearance and went into the view. It was very bright and worth seeing. Unfortunately, the map of Baidu shows soybean milk fried sticks (porridge shop) in the night market.
