Since Isamu Kondo was born in kamiishihara village, Tama county (present-day nosui, Chofu city), a bronze statue based on this statue is built near the sanmon gate of Saiko Ji Temple (kamiishihara, Chofu city). In the planning exhibition room (the first exhibition room) on the first floor, exhibitions on the history of the local culture and art are held, and when visiting the museum, works donated by Heiichi Nakagawa, a former teacher of an elementary school in Chofu City "Chofu no imakashi" is being held ...

I learned that there was a collaboration event with the Chofu City Local Museum at the Mushakoji Saneatsu Memorial Hall, so I visited in a hurry. I received a postcard at the stamp rally in both buildings. It is within walking distance from Chofu Station, but it is difficult to understand the entrance for the first time.

It is a museum that exhibits the history of the region, and the exhibition room is a little small, with １ floor ２ floor ２, so you can visit it without getting tired. Next to the lobby, there is a corner that introduced Isamu Kondo (Chairman of the Shinsengumi) from Chofu City for children, and the commentary was also understood even if it was not an adult.
