“Beacon in the Storm: The Art of Pang Jiun” ExhibitionFrom the discovery and completion of the "Gray Tone" to "Radiant Brilliance." The “Beacon in the Storm: The Art of Pang Jiun” Exhibition will be held from now to 18 February 2024 in Asia Society Hong Kong Centre (in Admiralty) after his large-scale retrospective exhibition in Hong Kong in 2018. The exhibition, curated by Mr. William Fong and supported by the Asia Society, will showcase 39 new paintings as well as 9 precious sketches created in the 1970s by the artist Pang Jiun, demonstrating the "Storm Society spirit”, which is the spirit of tirelessly challenging oneself and surpassing oneself. Pang Jiun was born in 1936 into an artistic family in Shanghai, with ancestral roots in Changshu, Jiangsu province.
