Colomares Monument

The castle was built by Estevan Martin, a Spaniard who spent most of his life in the United States. His favorite explorer was Columbus, who was disappointed that there was no building like Columbus, and built such a fairytale castle.

Tickets are cheap, 2-year-old daughter is free, and there is a Chinese guide to attractions, just halfway up the mountain, the parking lot is a bit poor

Through such a sculpture castle, people remember not only the great navigator Columbus, but also the old man who built it, Dr. Esteban Martín y Martín, who left a deep memory for us here. The most moving thing is that there is also a Chinese tower in the castle, and there are various versions of the introduction at the ticket office at the gate, including our introduction in Chinese, which is really another surprise for me who has traveled so many places in Spain!
