The famous Langxiang Church in the French Burgundy region, the French name is Colline Notre-Dame du Haut, was designed and built in 1953 by Le Coscibouille, was listed on the list of historical monuments in France in 1967, and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2016. The most striking part of Langxiang Church is the curved roof that rolls up in the sky. The curved roof, supported by pillars embedded in the wall, looks like it is hanging over the building, so there is a 10 cm gap between the roof and the wall, which allows for wisps of skylight light to enter. This streamlined design runs through the church's huge and heavy qualities and makes it look very lightweight.
