It’s not a shelter at all. Staff keep yelling at elephants. They force elephants to walk or take a shower, and it’s just to please tourists. I suspect the elephant food is not good either. Next to the "sheltered house" is an elephant camp where visitors can ride elephants. Elephants are not free at all, they cannot walk freely as they please. No freedom. The treatment was poor. This is not a peaceful place for elephants at all. There are a large number of tourists coming here every day. Elephants need peace. Today we have 60 people visiting the camp with us and when we booked they said no more than 12 people at most.
