Visiting Tsim Sha Tsui via the Star Ferry and seeing The Clock Tower
I took the Star Ferry from Wan Chai Pier to Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier. (You can get there via Star Ferry from Central, or via MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui Station).
It was raining on and off when I got there, and I managed to take a few beautiful pictures of the clock tower.
The Clock Tower at Tsim Sha Tsui is a declared monument of Hong Kong that remains from the old Kowloon station which was part of the Kowloon–Canton Railway. It was preserved when the station was demolished in 1977 and the nearby Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong Cultural Centre were built. The Clock Tower bell was moved around and displayed elsewhere until it was shown in the clock tower after 2010. Since December 9th 2021, the bell has rung hourly between 8 am to midnight.
I also managed to get a few pictures along the Promenade. This is a nice walk to do as you can walk past the Museums and Cultural Centre, along the Promenade and Avenue of Stars. There are a few nice restaurants located along the front as well.
There are a few hotels located near to the front, including the K11 ARTUS, Rosewood Hong Kong, Regent Hong Kong, The Royal Garden, InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, New World Millennium Hong Kong and Kowloon Shangri-La. I would love to try out these hotels and give you a clear and detailed review of my experiences.
K11 is a large shopping centre arcade which you can try out. There are a lot of high-end retailers there and a selection of restaurants.
I also posted a different picture of one of the side streets on the way to Chungking Mansions where I picked up some Indian food. There are a lot of money traders and phone shops also located there, and many Indian shops.

Good to learn some history of this iconic clock tower and enjoy the sea breeze at Victoria harbour which is just next to it
The clock tower, known as the Kowloon Railway Bell Tower, was built in 1915 and is a symbol of the steam train era. It was originally located in Kowloon Railway Station. In 1975, the Kowloon Railway Station was relocated and the clock tower is the only remaining building, indicating that it was once the starting point of the Kowloon Railway and is considered a landmark of Kowloon. The exterior of the bell tower is simple and elegant, and visitors can only view it from the outside and cannot enter the interior of the bell tower. The bell tower was completed in 1915 and has been listed as a legal monument since 1990. The main body of the bell tower is made of red brick, with marble inlaid in four corners and a 7-meter lightning rod on the roof. The clock tower faces Victoria Harbour. It originally had a large copper clock. Every night, the clock can convey a few miles away. The melodious "Victorian Harbour Bell" was once a scene of Hong Kong.
Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Terminal is definitely a place for tourists and Hong Kong people to check in. You can enjoy the scenery of Victoria Harbour and Guangdong Road. There are many famous shopping spots, and you can definitely enjoy the Bell Tower and Cultural College.
The Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower stands as a nostalgic reminder of Hong Kong's rich history. Majestic in its simplicity, this iconic landmark transports visitors back in time. Its enduring presence against the modern skyline is a testament to the city's evolution. Though no longer an active railway station, the tower remains a cherished symbol of Hong Kong's past, offering a glimpse into its storied heritage.
