According to archaeological data, Beiwudangshan Taoism (founded in Xiayi, flourishing in Tang) has a history of 4500 years, which is at least 3200 years earlier than the history of Wudang Mountain in Hubei South (founded in Tang Zhenguan, flourishing in Ming).
