Great walking area plus a little history
It's about 1.75 miles around the park with lookouts over the river and historical markers to stop and read. Trees shade about half of the walk.

boring ... facilities are ok (likely good for small town), parking is ok, a bit trashy (one of my pet gripes for locals who use and abuse muni parks)
