Stoke's Castle

Meh

It is not a castle and you can't get inside. The only real positive that can be made about the place is that it is positioned on a high piece of land where there a big vistas to take photos from.

Interesting Structure/Castle and its history.

We stopped and drove up the short easy dirt up to Castle. It’s too bad it’s not in good shape inside to have tours or something. The Block work on its exterior is done really well.

Great sunset

The castle is closed but you can see it on the outside. The drive up to it was a small road, well packed with snow when we went up, but we had not trouble. We went to see the unset which was fabulous....

Not much there

It's not all the impressive. I'm not sure I'd even call it a castle, but it's definitely unique. I'd be nice if you could get inside (legally). There is a nice view of the valley from the area.

A historical residence.

Walked the mile off the highway to see "the castle". It was a good walk and interesting to see someones vision and ambition. It was worth it to go see it. It was smokey the day I was there so no gr...
